The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted in September 2015, present an ambitious global framework to address inequality, and a transformative vision of a world that places people and planet at its core.

GBI joined the world’s major business organisations, industry groups and corporate responsibility initiatives to affirm the critical link between the SDGs and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).
