Simone has been involved with GBI since 2012, in different capacities: member company, consultant and advisor for Latin America.
Simone supported the creation and management of the human rights department in a large Latin American multinational and currently provides consultancy in policy making, human rights due diligence and advisory in complex remediation processes.
Simone has a broad international experience in disaster and armed conflict settings comprising twenty countries in four continents. She teaches business and human rights and humanitarianism at the International Relations Faculty of the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, from where she holds a Masters Degree in International Relations. She has also studied political science at the Institut d´Études Politique, in Paris.
