On 18 and 19 February 2016, GBI Director Catie Shavin joined an international workshop organised by the Confederation of German Employers (BDA) exploring current issues and developments in the area of business and human rights. Catie joined a panel focused on NAPs, providing an overview of recent developments and sharing perspectives from her work with business leaders on these developments, the need for strong state engagement on business and human rights, and ways forward.
